Course Description
From Global Society to 'Heart of Asia'
In parallel with inspiring lectures, students will also be exposed to key issues in Asian affairs through a series of field trips in Hong Kong, neighbouring Macau, Shanghai, Hangzhou and Seoul.  Each of these field trips will also contain an academic component.  Renowned businessmen, community leaders, and scholars will also be invited as guest speakers.

Study Tours
Special study tours to Macau, Shanghai, Hangzhou and Seoul will be arranged in collaboration with the University of Macau, Zhejiang University and Yonsei University.  In addition to academic lectures, seminars and social activities, survival Korean courses will also be offered on an optional basis.  In order to enhance deeper understanding of local culture and multicultural interaction, local students will be invited to act as ambassadors for the students whilst in Hong Kong and during the study tours in China and Seoul.

Remarks: Credits will not be granted unless students have successfully completed the four-week programme.
