Abstract:
To take immediate advantage of the research momentum gained through my recent investigation by pursuing the most obvious among the many possible avenues for follow-up research - an archival investigation of musical life in late 14th and early 15th-century Brescia, the city which provided the cultural backdrop to the extraordinary artifact that is codex J.II.9.
