Heritage Fiesta 2019

For over a century, the University of Hong Kong has been an integral part of the city’s culture and heritage, and our campus is home to many of its most cherished historical monuments and heritage buildings. HKU is committed to preserve its built heritage and is proud to be part of the Heritage Fiesta 2019, an annual event presented by the Commissioner for Heritage’s Office of the Development Bureau.

The Heritage Fiesta 2019 features 24 historic buildings in Hong Kong that were formerly used as quarters or dormitories, among which five are HKU Heritage buildings, namely, HKU Visitor Centre, Run Run Shaw Heritage House, Eliot Hall, May Hall, and Lung Fu Shan Environmental Education Centre.

The heritage buildings at HKU are most closely associated with the University’s historical, cultural and literary legacy. You are most welcome to visit our heritage buildings at your leisure or as part of our guided tours.
