in all major government Civil Service jobs for university graduates
among all universities: 32.2% share for 2010 fresh graduates; 29.2%
share for fresh and past graduates combined.
HKU students also have the largest share of government summer internship
placement of 18.5% in 2010. |
HKU has the most comprehensive career-related resources provided to our
students. For two consecutive years, our combined career-related advisory
services achieved the highest awareness and usage ratings of 45.0%, which
was better than the overall rating of local universities (41.5%).

HKU Careers and Placement is the only career service in Hong Kong
universities providing a tailor-made and structured faculty-based Professional
Preparation Programme to its students. From 2008 to 2011, around 2,000
students have joined the programme, apart from regular careers training
activities.
