What
is a Mentor?

HKU Mentorship is
:
- A structured
one-to-one relationship or partnership between a mentor and a mentee;
- A special contract
between a mentor and a mentee that requires two-way participation;
- A mutual relationship,
with mentors and mentees deriving satisfaction from their unique alliance;
- The hallmark
of a good mentoring relationship: respect, support, trust, sharing
and understanding.
The HKU
Mentorship Programme aims to create supportive mentoring relationships
between alumni/friends of HKU (Mentors) and its undergraduates (Mentees)
to facilitate the students' educational, social and personal growth.
