BA (Linguistics)

Students majoring in Linguistics must take:

LING1001 Introduction to Linguistics and

LING1002 Language.com:Language in the Contemporary World or

LING1003 Language, Thought, and Culture in their first year.

They must also take:

LING2004 Phonetics and

LING2050 Grammatical Description normally in their second year and

LING3003 Linguistics Field Trip in their third year,

In addition, they must take a minimum of 30 credits in their second and third years of study from our list of courses.
