The Royal Society Kan Tong Po Visiting Fellowships Programme
The Royal Society Kan Tong Po Visiting Fellowships Programme is now open for application.
The Kan Tong Po Visiting Fellowships Programme supports a one-off visit to promote collaborations between UK- or USA-based scientists with Hong Kong-based scientists.
The collaborations must be on a subject within the natural sciences, including: physics, chemistry, mathematics, computer sciences, engineering, agricultural, biological and medical research, the scientific aspects of archaeology, geography and experimental psychology. The Royal Society does not cover social sciences, clinical or patient-oriented research or history of science.

Applicant Eligibility
The UK- or USA- scientist and Hong Kong-based scientist must
- hold a PhD or equivalent research experience;
- hold a permanent or fixed-term contract at an eligible organization for the duration of the project in their respective countries (ineligible organizations include industrial, private and commercial organisations, university spin-out companies and government bodies); and
- be based in the respective countries at the time of application.
