MSc in Sports Science

The Physical Education and Sports Science Unit, the University of Hong Kong, will offer the first taught Master of Science degree programme in the region with a specialization in sports science in 1999-2001.

The demand for taught post-graduate degree programmes in sports science has grown in recent years as a result of the increasing need of the Hong Kong community for higher professional skills in this field. Studying in Hong Kong in a locally-based and locally-focused programme, at a respected and well-established university with library, computer and research facilities at the students’ disposal, will facilitate the pursuit of an advanced degree in this field.

Successful candidates are likely to be in an advantageous position for senior posts related to the sports sciences in education, administration and the health and leisure service sector.
