Brief Biography:

Ian is a professional consultant and is currently Director of CN Consultants Ltd, specializing in investments, training and business strategy. His former clients included the Canadian Pacific Ltd, Dylex Ltd, the Boys and Girls Clubs Association and the Toronto Dominion Bank. Ian has served in various capacities in a number of public organizations, including the Government of Hong Kong, the Government of Ontario, Canada, the Vocational Training Council, and the Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority.

Ian is currently the Director of Strategic Development of the Hong Kong University Graduates Association and a Professional Advisory Mentor of HKU SPACE. Ian is a member of the Hong Kong Computer Society and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers. He was a former member of the Toronto Real Estate Board and is a Land Banking Consultant of Walton International Group Ltd.

Ian graduated from the Faculty of Science of HKU in 1976. He was awarded a Master of Business Administration degree in 1980 from his studies in the University of Hawaii and the Institute of International Studies and Training, Japan. Ian is currently a Doctor of Business Administration candidate of the University of Newcastle. His research area is in investment strategies.
