Daeyoung Yu received his Ph.D. at Seoul National University, Korea in 2000 for the study of multiple buoyant jet discharged from a thermal diffuser. From 2000 to 2002, he was with the Korean Institute of Construction Technology where he was involved in stream restoration research. Since 2002, he has been working in the Croucher laboratory of Environmental Hydraulics, The University of Hong Kong.
