Energy Saving Measures - winter 2012

The Sustainability Committee wishes to advise University members
that during the forthcoming term break, the following measures will
be implemented:
Period 1:
(a) December 24 to 26, 2012 inclusive;
(b) December 31 (p.m.) 2012 to January 1, 2013 inclusive.
Measures:
(a) All central air-conditioning (A/C) services will be shutdown and
stand-alone A/C units will be deactivated except for the identified
areas.
(b) Lift, escalator and lighting services will be minimized.
Period 2:
December 27 to 30, 2012 inclusive.
Measures:
Air conditioning will normally be provided between the hours of 8:00-
19:00 during weekdays. The air-conditioning for specialized
laboratories can be extended upon request.

at 2547 9522 or send a “Special Request Form” to Estates Office.

The Committee would like to request all University members to support
our efforts by ensuring all lighting, equipment and appliances are
turned off when it is not required.
