Merging of Bus Service Route

We are pleased to share with you that the number of colleagues using the bus service has increased steadily since its inception on the first day of the academic year two days ago.
To enhance the service, the two routes going from Central to the University Main Campus, and the Medical Faculty respectively will now be merged with immediate effect until further notice. The details are as follows:
Day & Time:
Mondays to Fridays (except public holidays)
From 8:15 am to 9:00 am
Frequency: Every 5 minutes
Pick up point:
Wing On House, Connaught Road Central (junction of Pottinger Street)
Stops:
1) University Main Campus (West Gate), Pokfulam Road
2) Block S, Queen Mary Hospital, Pokfulam Road
3) Medical Faculty, Sassoon Road
Fare:
1) HK$7.00 to University Main Campus
2) HK$8.00 to QM Block S or Medical Faculty
(Please pay by Octopus – registered at HKUSA Office or at RMS, 6C,Sassoon Rd. beforehand)
We anticipate that the merged route arrangement will reduce the time for waiting. It will also reduce the space to park two 60-seat coach buses at the public bus stop at Central at the same time, and in turn reduce the likelihood of traffic jams.
All fellow colleagues are most welcome to use the bus service tailor made for you all.
