Centennial Campus Buildings Update (只備英文版本)
04 Sep 2012 - 22 Sep 2012
Dear colleagues and students,
I would like to provide updates on issues of Centennial Campus Buildings.
There were reports about formaldehyde and Legionella bacteria in the past two weeks. On formaldehyde, I am pleased to report to you that all results in the last two batches (on August 8 and 15) are of either Good or Excellent Class, i.e. below 100 micrograms per cubic metre.
On Legionella, the disinfection exercise by shock chlorination was conducted smoothly on Aug 25-26. While we are waiting for the post-disinfection water monitoring results, we are confident that the results should be positive as the contractor has previous experience in conducting similar exercises at Tamar and QMH.
The Core Implementation Group of Centennial Campus project has approved the new room code and abbreviations for the Centennial Campus. Your attention is drawn to the fact that the podium between the three buildings will be called ‘Central Podium’ (CPD) and the code for the three buildings will be CJT (Jockey Club Tower), CRT (Run Run Shaw Tower) and CCT (Cheng Yu Tung Tower) respectively. Signages at the Centennial Campus will be erected starting from this week. For the new room code, please click here for details:
Thank you for your attention.

Director of Estates
